Helen Thomas receives the 2010 Landmark scholarship to investigate integrated environmental management.

Helen and husband Wayne operate a mixed farming business on South Australia’s mid-north region incorporating four properties, cropping and producing wool and prime lambs with stud and commercial poll Merino flocks of up to 8500 head depending on seasonal conditions.

Helen plans to visit a number of eastern and western European countries and the US, to research the integration of agriculture into broader, publicly supported ecosystem management programs to preserve aesthetic, production and environmental values.
