Nuffield scholars are invited to register and upload any photographic material that they believe will be of interest to the Nuffield community. Instructions on how to do this are shown below. Only Nuffield scholars will be able to register.

Remember that this is a publicly viewable gallery and all images are potentially accessible and useable by the general public. Therefore do not upload anything that is subject to copyright or offensive in nature.

To register do the following:

1. Open the gallery web page and click on "Register"
2. Fill in the requested details. You will need to supply an email address and to devise a username and password. (If at any time you forget the password it can be recovered via the login link). Submit your registration.
3. All applications will be checked by the web site administrator and if authentic, an email notification will be sent to enable the account to be activated.

To add albums and photos do the following:

1. Login to your account.
2. Create an album for the images that you wish to upload. To do this open the sidebar by clicking on the sidebar link (top right of window) and then click on the Add Album in the left side menu. Just enter a name for the album. You can also enter other things, but a name is all that is needed. Then hit Save. Note that all entered information can be edited at any time while logged in to your account.
3. Add photos to the album by clicking on the Add Items link in the left side menu and do one of the following:

Adding Items via your web browser:

1. Navigate to the album you wish to add items to and click the “add items” link on the sidebar.
2. Click the “From Web Browser” tab if you are not already on that tab.
3. You are now presented with one or more boxes for item uploads. Click the “Browse” button to open a dialogue box that enables you to select a local file and insert its path into the form. Alternatively you can type in the local path directly into the form. If you need more than the default five, click the “more” link on the bottom of the page to extend the number.
4. You may also create a .zip archive and upload that. It will be unzipped and installed by the server
5. If you want, you can enter a caption for the item added in Step 3.
6. Click the “Add Items” button on the bottom of the page to upload the items selected.

Please avoid uploading large images (more than 5 MB) and remember that the upload process can be fast or slow depending on the size of your files and the speed of your Internet connection.
